My eyes are opening to how powerful the holy spirit moves in worship! This morning we were in worship and it was absolutely incredible. Caleb and I were leading worship and Caleb opened us up into a time of confession and prayer. There was a mount of quite deep self-reflection and MAN was the air thick with the holy spirit. Eventually one of my teammates went up and just broke down crying as he opened about his deep struggle with Pride. How even though being saved for years it is still a constant battle for Him. His vulnerably was so powerful and I through that the holy spirit moved, and it opened up a space for others to share, confess, and pray for each other. I honestly cried a little bit as well as I really felt emotional about what some of my team has gone through in their own homes. It was so interesting because I am not usually one to break down like that, but it felt like I wasn't the one crying it was the holy spirit inside. I don't really know how to explain it was mixture of grief for how broken human lives are both also a leap of joy and hope as people shared. While everybody on earth is different in their own unique way we all relate in experiencing the hurt of the sinful nature in us and in the world. With that being said how truly amazing and good it is to have a team that is open to being vulnerable and trusting. I am so grateful for how the Lord has brought us all together into a team and ultimately a family.
